Birds eye Boldin

"Wrong brother" alert.  The Phillies are the masters of this domain evidenced by Marcus Giles, Jeremy Giambi, Juan Bell (brother to George), Jake Blalock, Vince Dimaggio, etc.  Looks like the Birds want to join the calamity.  PFT.com reports the Birds have worked out D.J. Boldin, Anquan's little brother.  D.J. Boldin had an impressive Senior season with Wake Forest, yet he is regarded as a marginal prospect in the scouts' eyes.  Boldin was not invited to any of the post season Bowl games, nor was he asked to attend the combine.   NFL Draft Scout ranks Boldin as the 40th best receiver in this year's draft.  

Think poor man's Jason Avant.  Shorter, slower, less physical, worse hands.  Now if that doesn't get you charged up, I don't know what would.
